The Port George COUNTRY
JAMBOREE combines 11 hours of live country music with
fabulous food, a 200 table all-day Flea Market, a
pancake breakfast, activities for kids, supper and
camping. It is held outdoors on the Bay of Fundy shore.
Fabulous food like fish & chips, strawberry shortcake,
lobster rolls, fruit smoothies or a just a hamburger or
hotdog - we have them all, and more. Find "treasures" at
the giant, 200 table flea market or watch the little
ones in the bouncer or riding the kiddies train. Campers
welcomed.
2011 is the 29th Anniversary of this Lions and community
of Port George fundraiser. The JAMBOREE is held rain or
shine. This is a family event - no alcohol please. Last
year over 4,000 people from all over Nova Scotia and
beyond attended what many said was our best Jamboree
yet! Hope to see you at this year's celebration.
